We have developed a comprehensive Quality Management System (QMS) that is ISO 9001-2015 compliant and ensures our system is adhered to as we are completing full certification.
Our quality management team consists of our quality manager, production supervision, and management to ensure our quality manual and systems are up-to-date and relevant to our customer’s needs. We regularly host audit teams from our customers, so they are confident they’re receiving components to their design specifications and industry standards, and we proudly stand behind our customer quality reports giving our operations the highest scores.
Environmental Responsibility
It is rare that environmental responsibility and manufacturing are aligned but it is critical at Shamong Manufacturing. We are located in the Pine Barrens of New Jersey and as a local employer, we live in the community where we work. Minimizing our environmental impact is also good business and allows us to provide competitive pricing for our customers. From reducing our electricity and fuel usage to effective chemical reduction and disposal, and effectively nesting our cutting operations; reducing waste in our production processes is critical to the operation of our business and the community we live in.
Cybersecurity & CMMC
With the ever-increasing attacks from threat actors through hacking and ransomware, keeping our customer’s design information and operations software is paramount. With continual investments and training on network and physical security, Shamong Manufacturing is committed to mitigating these risks and maintaining a strong threat posture.
To ensure we have the confidence of our Aerospace and Defense customers, we are pursuing CMMC certification to maintain our position as a reliable partner in the defense supply chain. This benefits all our customers as it safeguards their products and designs from intellectual property theft, whether their products are medical, advanced technology, EV, or machine builders.
ITAR Compliance
Shamong Manufacturing is ITAR registered and compliant in accordance with State Department’s Directorate of Defense Trade Controls (DDTC).
